We have an application process that everyone must go through. During this process we do check your vet records to ensure other pets in the household are kept up to date on vaccines. This helps us ensure the pets are going to the best possible home. To also help ensure the dogs are going to the best fit homes, we take your life style into account. For example, a 90 pound dog would likely not be the best fit for someone living in an apartment. 

We have applications that can be found under the forms tab, you can download it from there and email the filled out form to us. We also have applications that can be picked up and filled out in person at the shelter.

Yes, when you come to look at dogs we do require you to fill out an application before meeting with them. This way our manager can begin processing your application. Filling out the application does not obligate you to adopt. It simply gets your foot through the door so we can get things rolling on our end. An approved application is good for 6 months. 

We do not allow foot traffic through our dog room because it stresses out the dogs and you don't always see their true personalities.

Our goal is to adopt these dogs into the best fit homes we can find. We want these dogs to be happy, healthy, and staying current on their vaccines.
